Is It Recalled? is designed so product checks run in your browser. Package identifiers you enter (such as UPC or lot codes) are used to compare against the loaded recall record for that session and are not intended to be uploaded as a stored personal profile.

If analytics are added later, event tracking must not include user-entered UPCs, lot codes, dates, or other package identifiers. Feedback email messages you choose to send may include the page URL and recall identifiers you paste into the message.

This site loads FDA openFDA data (or demonstration data) to display recalls. Refer to FDA and openFDA terms for their data practices.
